How It All Started

Oh what a few “wild hairs” can turn into.

An Adventure

The Thomas Family purchased the historic property in 2013. Its original intention was to be our private getaway from the hustle and bustle of Houston. We had 160 acres to play on and with a farmhouse from the 1800s, what was there not to love? Over the years we cleaned up the property and updated parts of the house. All of our friends and family loved coming to visit. From enjoying the great outdoors to the ghost adventures in the house. (Think I’m playing? Look in the window!) After a few years of seeing how the property was shaping out into something beautiful, we decided it was time to share our property with others.

The First Wild Hair: Trinity Luxury RV Resort & Cabins

We are in the RV Industry in Houston and have enjoyed camping our whole life. That is why it made perfect sense to open up an RV park in our small slice of heaven. In 2018, that wild hair came to life. Our main goal was to keep it small and personable, something that we would really enjoy going to. With only 5 luxurious cabins and 5 spacious RV sites, we hit the nail on the head, or so all of our guests tell us.

The Second Wild Hair: The Manor Wedding & Events Venue

3 guys designing and building a wedding venue? Sounds pretty crazy right. That just means you haven’t met Bill Thomas! Once he had this idea, there was no stopping him. As he would say “I have been married 4 times, I know what I’m doing”. I not so sure it works quite like that, but once you meet Bill you will understand that is just the go-getter he is. Anyhow, with no knowledge of the venue industry, we dove in headfirst. We started with a sketch on a napkin of what our ideal building would look like. That has progressed, and changed a few times, to what you see today! We are eager to be able to play a part in people’s dream weddings and events.
